900+miles in 1-day, 3-days across the Atlantic...

Another, (35th) crossing of the 'pond' Pacific for me this time from Honolulu to LA on the winner of the 2009 TransPac Div 2. - "OEX". Great but slow 17-day light-wind trip and I arrive to find the French 140ft trimaran "Banque Populaire" has crossed the Atlantic in 3 days and did a 907 nautical mile day at an average speed of 38-knots! It makes the five hundred mile days I did aboard Bruno Peyron's "Explorer" pale in comparison! I want to be re-incarnated French pleaaase!!! Watch the video above for a taste of her...
